For the past 36 years, Santa’s Workshop has brought holiday magic and meaningful support to families facing housing insecurity, domestic violence, and the need for affordable childcare. Presented by Regions and with the help of dedicated volunteers, YWCA staff, and Junior Board members, families enjoy a festive morning of crafts, breakfast, games, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. In addition to holiday cheer, each family receives books, gift cards, and other seasonal treats to help make their holidays brighter. We also hope you’ll save the date for the return of our Santa’s Workshop Preview Party: Miracle on 23rd Street, on Tuesday, December 9th. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at this special event and join us in celebrating the powerful impact of our work to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. While your presence is the best present we could ask for this season, your financial support is also greatly appreciated. Your contribution helps ensure the success of Santa’s Workshop and supports our mission across all three of YWCA Central Alabama’s pillars: Early Childhood Education, Housing and Support for Families Experiencing Housing Insecurity, and Comprehensive Domestic Violence Response and Prevention Services. |
