For the past 36 years, Santa’s Workshop has brought holiday magic and meaningful support to families facing housing insecurity, domestic violence, and the need for affordable childcare.

On December 13th, families enjoyed a festive morning of crafts, breakfast, games, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus. In addition to holiday cheer, each family received books, gifts, and other seasonal treats to help make their holidays brighter.

Presented by Regions and with the help of dedicated volunteers, YWCA staff, and Junior Board members this event wrapped up a full year of programming and celebrated the powerful impact of our work to eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

There is still time to help make holiday magic! Your contribution helps ensure the continued success of Santa’s Workshop and supports our mission across all three of YWCA Central Alabama’s pillars: Early Childhood Education, Housing and Support for Families Experiencing Housing Insecurity, and Comprehensive Domestic Violence Response and Prevention Services.
